Agile PLM

Oracle’s Agile PLM set the standard and we have supplied private label technical services for some of the predominate Oracle Solution providers for years. We also extend our services directly to select organizations.

Data Migrations

Through the years, it seems we have migrated data in almost every form: iDoc, XML, CSV, direct data export via SQL, etc from a variety of source systems including Arena, SAP, Lotus Notes, home grown systems and even other Agile systems.

A proven process for migration is often more important that the source or format of the data as it provides repeatability and quality. We have a wealth of experience and a team to get the job done.

Extending Agile PLM

Process extensions are a large part of the Agile PLM landscape. They are custom pieces of code that can react to events or run on a schedule to reinforce business rules. PLM Mechanic has authored countless extensions to accomplish a wide variety of tasks. These are usually simple pieces of code that can drastically improve the quality of your data within Agile and across the enterprise as a whole.

In addition to Process Extensions, a number of other integration opportunities exist through the Java based Agile API and SOAP web services. We have leveraged both extensively throughout our long relationship with Agile.

System Administration Tasks

Installation. Need to get Agile PLM installed? There are a lot of moving parts including the database, weblogic, the Agile PLM server, file manager, and AutoVue. Often there are a lot of hosts and ports involved along with different patches needed to complete a thorough, up to date installation. Let a pro help you out!

Upgrades. If you’re not on Agile 9.3.6, you’re being left behind. This is the latest greatest as well as the “last” Agile on premise version available. Why not upgrade? After ripping off the band aide it should be a much easier road to just apply RUP packages to stay up to date. After all, the latest version has a lot of fixes in it and features that my benefit you.

Maintenance. Did you know there are a number of utilities that should be run on a regular basis for Agile? Additionally, do you routinely check your agile backups (dump file export/import)? Do you even take backups?
